Military simulator ArmA 3 is now out the door at Bohemia Interactive as it storms retailer shelves from today. To mark the occasion a launch trailer has choppered in offering marketing cover-fire for clerks.
The studio would like to remind us that ArmA 3’s story campaign will be arriving across three DLC episodes in the near future that are entirely free. ArmA 3 is set on isles Altis and Stratis.
At launch ArmA 3 has ”12 single player showcases, 3 factions showcases, 9 multi player scenarios, 10 firing drill challenges, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons, 5 factions, the scenario editor and modding support.”

We experienced some significant setbacks in the past years, but the fantastic public us going,” said Joris-Jan van ‘t Land, Project Lead on ArmA III. Those ‘setbacks’ included two of their development staff imprisoned by Greek authorities on espionage charges when on vacation.
