According to the developer, the game will feature ”more abilities, more upgrades, more of everything” and that ”we’re not retelling the story from the movie. We’re telling our own unique side-story,” complete with characters from the first game and ”new classic characters from the Marvel universe.” Players will also be playing as Peter Parker, requiring his journalistic skills to move the story forward.
The developer added, ”We’re expanding our Manhattan by adding more content and more challenges.” The game will also feature a morality system, so that ”if you play like Uncle Ben taught you, you’ll be rewarded… if you don’t, you’ll have a harder time playing.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
