What kind of hardware lies inside the PCs at this year’s E3 to run DICE’s Battlefield 4? What could possibly handle all that ‘Levolution’ and Commandering? Well, AMD has been kind enough to spill the beans.
Apparently the PC rigs are running two 7970s in Crossfire, with a AMD FX-8350 processor. That means all that skyscraper toppling is ready to go on today’s affordable high-end machines.
Neither AMD nor DICE however revealed what resolution the Battlefield 4 sessions were running at, which naturally can make a big difference. Battlefield 4 releases October 29th in the US, November 1st in EU.
