What visual slickness can we look forward to on PC with the likes of The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs? Nvidia has revealed some juicy details via a presentation.
All support DirectX 11 and tessellation, with some also backing TXAA and GPU PhysX sorcery. Nvidia spotlighted The Witcher 3 by showcasing a furry wolf galloping along.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist was also among the list of titles in this Nvidia slideshow event. New techniques for Fur and Hair simulation are a big deal for the CD Projekt RED RPG.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be keeping the tradition of its predecessors by supporting GPU powered PhysX, although it’s unclear what version of the SDK. All support tessellation and DirectX 11 which is great news for those who like their textures almost feeling tactile. Splinter Cell: Blacklist will feature HBAO+ support.
