Cyberpunk 2077 is CD Projekt RED’s adaptation of Mike Pondsmith’s pen-and-paper roleplaying game, due in 2015. The game is exclusively for PC, but that will probably change, according to the studio.
Company business development manager Rafal Jaki revealed that there are 210 staff working at the studio. 100 of them are finishing up The Witcher 3, while a smaller team is working on Cyperpunk 2077. The rest of the studio is working on the engine that powers both games.
“I don’t want to brag or anything, but really the stuff they’ve come up with is mind-blowing,” Jaki promised, adding when asked about next-gen consoles that it “most probably will” happen. “But we can’t confirm or deny because it’s too early for that,” he concluded.
