Rockstar has released the content editor for Grand Theft Auto V’s online mode, giving players the tools used by the dev team to create their own customized matches.
“With access to some of the same tools as our own game design and development team, you can craft your own custom blood-soaked gunfights, high-octane street races, screaming jet dogfights and more,” boasts the studio.
Players will be able to create their own Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Race, GTA Race and Rally Race events for other players to engage in. The best of the content will be given the tag “Rockstar Verified Jobs”.
In the same announcement, Rockstar noted, ”We know many of you in the GTA Online community are super excited for the debut of co-operative Heists. Heists are currently in development and we are working very hard to get them as polished and as fun as they can be. Stay tuned for much more detail in the New Year.”
Grand Theft Auto V was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and the PC version is all but verified.
