Project Gotham 5 rumours intensify, Rare rumoured as next developer

Those busy bodies at NeoGaf are at it again. This time, Project Gotham 5 is getting the once over.

Looking at the potential existence of another PGR iteration, it seems Rare has hired a number of individual developers from teams that focus on racing franchises. Talent has been brought in from Codemasters, Ubisoft Reflections and Evolution Studios.

Is this all a coincidence? Lucid Games has been rumoured to be working on the next Project Gotham for some time. The studio has also hired a number of devs from EA, SEGA and previews PGR games.
