They outline new goals with a "transparent cost to backers," so no 'more depth!' ambiguity. Their first stretch at £380k would add Syndicate composer Russell Shaw.
There'll be some international linguistics at the £400k level with localisation for French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian and Czech. Environment destruction at £440k!
"We were hesitant to reveal our stretch goals until we met our funding target, but due to a lot of requests, we’ve let the cat out of the bag," reads the latest Kickstarter update from 5 Lives.
Their approach to Satellite Reign means it's a very scalable game, they say. "The nature of an emergent, simulated system is that new components of gameplay can be slotted into, or taken out of the structure without compromising the core game systems. This allows us to adjust the game according to any budget, whether it’s our initial target or above."
The studio team break down their stretch goals and explain each a little more beyond just their title, like with 'environmental destruction' for the cyberpunk city.
"With this stretch goal we intend to let you wreck havoc on the city. If you can shoot it you can smash it. With the funds from this stretch goal we will be able to hire an additional artist to concentrate solely on effects and destruction of the city. While the bigger buildings won’t be able to be completely levelled you can still blow the hell out of them, setting them on fire and causing ultimate panic. But be aware destruction on that scale is going to bring the hammer of the corporations down on you in a flash," say the Satellite Reign team.
Their most ambitious stretch goal revealed thus far would be at the £650k level with a multiplayer co-op campaign. Check out thefor Satellite Reign to learn more about the stretch goals in detail.
5 Lives Studios will also be attending PAX Australia this weekend in Melbourne.
