We’re just over a month out from Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist launching and so a new story trailer has been posted detailing the US government’s secret black ops program Echelon, and some guy Fisher.
This new trailer asks us to ”become what they fear most” - which is a guy in a sneak suit with green goggles, who really has a thing for hanging upside-down off pipework. Team America!
Of course Ubisoft may find themselves having to stop over in Hong Kong before going on to Russia to apply for asylum for this obvious national security violation of exposing Echelon.
This nearly 2-minute trailer shows the new Sam Fisher taking on his iconic role in foiling terrorist plans, with some quick shots of gameplay interspersing some narrative teases. Splinter Cell: Blacklist releases on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 August 20th in the US, 23rd in EU. Ubisoft promise we can be as sneaky as we want this time, or go loud.
