Arkham Origins’ Batman is to be voice by Ezio Auditore’s Roger Craig Smith. Conroy apparently is voicing Batman in a ”new Arkham game coming soon,” so at least we have that.
His tweet, which was meant to clear up confusion over the matter, has since been pulled. Warner Bros were obviously unhappy to have another Arkham mentioned this early.
”Confusion in Dallas. I am in new Arkham game coming soon, not Arkham Origins coming this fall,” is what Kevin Conroy tweeted, which Batman News managed to snagged a picture of. This is a most interesting development indeed as Batman: Arkham Origins is the only announced project in the works.
As Arkham Origins explores a younger Batman, and why they probably wanted a different voice, it seems reasonable to speculate then that the next Arkham will take place after Arkham City.
Batman: Arkham Origins releases on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC October 25th.
