What does it include? A copy of GRID 2 for PS3 with unique artwork. A branded Bell racing helmet, a PS3, a racing suit with boots and gloves… oh and a customised BAC Mono racing car.
A tour of the BAC factory includes time with technicians to discuss the specifications of the custom BAC racer, which is an actual full power racing vehicle.
This isn’t some gimmicky go-kart - certainly not for £125,000. Only one of these Mono Editions will exist. The BAC models retail between £100k to £150k, and the included car is a mid-range model. All-in-all, GRID 2 had better be a pretty amazing game for the price sticker. Will Rockstar Games actually sell us a real blimp to ride next?
”The BAC Mono is a British manufactured, road-legal, ultra-high performance supercar which stars in the game. Created from high-strength carbon fibre, the BAC Mono is an unrivalled example of light-weight performance engineering and its 2.3 litre, 280 bhp four cylinder power plant will propel its driver from 0-60 m.p.h. in just 2.8 seconds.”
GRID 2 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC May 28th in the US, 31st in EU.
