As of November 20th, Take-Two has trademarked ‘Bully Bullworth Academy: Canis Canem Edit’ on European shores which includes an emblem for the dysfunctional boarding school educating Jimmy Hopkins.
Rockstar Games’ Bully originally released as ‘Canis Canem Edit’ in Europe. A CV discovered in October revealed Rockstar was working on the ”next version of a famous IP”.
Rockstar’s Houser brothers have been rather open about their love for something more in the Bully universe, and it seems a return is far closer than we thought.
The studio has plenty of IP to play with such as Max Payne, Red Dead Redemption, Manhunt, and even L.A. Noire. It goes without saying that Grand Theft Auto will be in Rockstar’s future until the world stops spinning. It’s unlikely we’d get a stupendous announcement next month at Spike VGX, and Rockstar isn’t keen on E3 events either.
