Microsoft has revealed at the Build Developer Conference in San Francisco the 11.2 build of DirectX, which will be for Windows 8.1 and next-gen consoles using DX.
The biggest new feature is tiled resources, which allows the video card to use system RAM in order to improve texture detail.
