Gemini Wars, called Black Talons.
The game is being developed for PC, Mac OS and Linux, and boasts persistent and customizable squads in what the developer promises will be a deep campaign mode. "The actions of the player directly affect the balance of power on the system," warns Camel 101.
Players will also have to be cognizant of faction relations as there are a number of neutral minor factions to pay attention to. These factions will offer contract work that will improve relations with them, while missions that hinder other factions will lower the rep with them.
Finally, there will be an ungradeable skill tree for each class with is unique to that class, which include Recon, Tactical, Assault, Support, Engineer. Also, there are five different types of planets with weather effects.
