According to the official Destiny website, there’ll be an ”admission to the Destiny Beta” tied to pre-orders for the Bungie title in this ‘post-Halo era’ for the studio. This offer was found hiding in code for the site.
It was code lines 1778 to 1780 that blabbed, mentioning the usual marketing ploy of ‘pre-order at select retailers and get stuff!’. This was only found on the UK and Canadian site versions.
The offending lines of text have since been scrubbed from the Destiny page. It was spotted by Reddit - that being a user, as the community itself is yet to achieve collective consciousness.
