Will wonders never cease? Apparently not because Triumph Studios’ Age of Wonders III has brought the turn-based fantasy strategy back to life as it releases on PC. It’s available through Steam and GOG.com.
It’s been ”39 months of hard work,” says Triumph’s Lennart Sas. The new classes and specializations ensure players aren’t ”hemmed in” by typical fantasy tropes. It’s priced at £30/$40.
RPG-lite features are introduced with Age of Wonders III as leaders become increasingly customisable through their skill sets; we don’t have to suffer carbon copies.
”After 39 months of hard work, we’re finally letting our baby out into the world. We’re excited to let people finally return to the game they loved so much,” said Lennart Sas, Development Director at Triumph. ”The new classes and specializations let players choose to play the way THEY want, rather than being hemmed in by the typical fantasy restrictions.”
