There’s a new patch out for Diablo III which features a raft of changes and balance tweaks. Patch 2.0.4 features damage increases for several classes, most notably the barbarian’s single-target skills.
Among the other alterations are an increase in the drop rate of legendary crafting materials and better loot from ‘resplendent chests’, which never felt all that resplendent, to be honest. You can read the full patch notes over at Battle.net.
Patch 2.0.4 is only live in North America right now, with players in the Americas unable to log in to European or Asian servers until the patch has been fully rolled out.
Important: Please note that you will not be prompted to download patch 2.0.4 until the patch is live in your home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is in the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 2.0.4 is live until those regions have also patched.
