It won’t come as much of a surprise to hear that Rocksteady’s next Batman outing will be available in collector’s edition form; in fact, you’ll be able to choose from the very expensive Batman: Arkham Knight - Batmobile Edition and the slightly expensive Limited Edition.
Except if you’re planning to play on PC, in which case you’ll only be able to get hold of the latter.
Not too much of a big deal really. Sure, the Batmobile model you get is nice enough, but otherwise the content for each version is exactly the same. Here’s what you can expect from the Arkham Knight Limited Edition, which retails at £89.99 in the UK (compared to £169.99 for the console-only Batmobile Edition):
Full-colour, 80 page custom art book showcasing the concept art of Batman Arkham Knight
Limited Edition SteelBook – Unique SteelBookâ„¢ case and game disc
Comic book – Limited Edition DC Comics Batman: Arkham Knight #0 comic book
Exclusive character skin pack – Three unique skins from DC Comics – The New 52
Batman memorial statue – Imposing statue commemorating Gotham’s protector, the Dark Knight
I’m never really convinced by these collector’s edition things, but at least the bits and pieces here look reasonably interesting. As we reported earlier today, Batman: Arkham Knight has finally got an official release date - it’s coming June 2, 2015.
