Infinity Ward have announced a January 28 release date for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ first DLC package, Onslaught. The date was announced in a post on the company’s official twitter, along with a teaser glimpse at the new Extinction map, and a look at a new alien enemy.
“Get ready for the Onslaught” read the tweet, along with a link to the following short teaser, backed by that famous Halloween movie score.
The developers also posted the following screengrab showing off the expansion pack’s new alien enemy. You’ll be fighting off these spider creatures in Nightfall, the new Extinction map. Alongside the new level for Ghosts’ alien-hunting co-op mode, there will be several traditional multiplayer maps.
Onslaught is the first of four major DLC packages incoming for the popular shooter.
