Just because Slightly Mad Studios has announced racing MMO World of Speed, it doesn’t mean something untoward has happened to their Oculus Rift and 4K supporting racer, Project Cars. It’s still due in 2014.
To that end the British studio has released a new trailer about a minute long proving it’s out this year. Project Cars has been in the works since 2011, and will finally cross the finish line in 2014.
It was actually scheduled for November last year but it got pushed back with Xbox 360 and PS3 versions dropped. It’s now for PC, SteamOS, Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U.
Project Cars fully supports VR with Oculus Rift and the eye-bleeding 4K resolution screens.
