Konami has confirmed that a ”definitive” list of PC specifications for the imminently due Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be published tomorrow, but that hasn’t stopped PC images leaking online.
A few screens have emerged revealing the PC version in action, along with the graphics and control settings pages. Apparently the menu can’t be navigated by mouse, only by keyboard. Boo!
The ‘leaked’ game screens originate from that wretched hive of scum and villainy: Mos Eisley 4chan. It was picked up by NeoGAF. There’s now some confusion over the PC requirements as the minimum specs list 4GB VRAM and a GeForce GTX 650, but that card doesn’t have 4GB.
”The specifications have been changed a couple of times on the Steam site it seems. The definitive ones will be up on the MGS page tomorrow and the Steam page shortly after,” Konami told VG247.
Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes releases on PC tomorrow, December 18th. It’s the prologue to the much meatier Phantom Pain due out in 2015 for PC and console.
