The Sims 4 has received another free content patch, with another batch of features for budding demi-gods to mess around with. This time around there’s a focus on Sim careers and, unsurprisingly, Christmas trinkets.
Two news career paths, the Business Career and the Athletic Career, offer new ways for your Sims to earn that sweet, sweet paycheque. Each contains new life goals, new outfits and new reward objects.
Corporate types can aspire to be either the Angel Investor or Business Tycoon, while jocks can plump for the Hall of Famer and Mr. or Ms. Solar System. The Athletic career also unlocks the “Llamacorn mascot outfit”, and is therefore the best option. For those already stuck in the nightmare grind of 24/7 working life, the new patch does add ‘paid time-off’, so you can ask for a few days paid leave without ruining your performance in the office. There’s also family leave for families expecting kids.
The Holiday Celebration Pack is also now available for free, adding a wreath, wall decorations, and a “grinning holiday snowman”. It also unlocks festive sweaters for your Sims to wear. The content update will be downloaded automatically, but you’ll need to redeem the Celebration pack from the main menu of The Sims 4.
