Ubisoft plans to add additional features to its platform racer Trials Fusion with free updates, the first of which adds online tournaments allowing players to show off their skills in a variety of challenges.
User-generated content is also on offer with this update, as ten player-created tracks have been made available cross-platform through Track Central, giving players a wider variety of tracks to choose from.
In a similar style to what Ubisoft does with challenges on Rayman Legends, each tournament will run for a limited time, giving players multiple opportunities to place on the leaderboards to win rider gear, bike parts, in-game cash and experience points. Prizes will be rewarded based on a players’ position on the leaderboard, the higher the rank the greater the prize.
Downloadable content for Trials Fusion will start rolling out to players this summer in six pieces. Each piece can be purchased individually or you can pick up a Season Pass for £15.99, which will grant access to all six pieces of DLC.
The DLC will feature new tracks, new bike parts, rider gear, new items for the track editor and each piece of content will let players experience a new Career Mode Event.
