The latest alpha release for Introversion Software’s Prison Architect has gone live, taking the early access sim to Alpha 28. A new video is up highlighting the latest changes to UI and mod scripting.
There’s been some UI streamlining though there’s much more to do, and the game’s script has been altered to help modders cut down on unseemly messes in their code, thanks to moving toilets.
There ever-entertaining new alpha video from Introversion’s Chris Delay and Mark Morris is the last of 2014 as they break for the holidays. Other tweaks in Alpha 28 include less frequent attempts by prisoners to tunnel out, but at the cost of ironing those crisp clean uniforms taking twice as long.
Our delivery trucks will also now spawn a driver that’ll help unload and load goods to help ease bottlenecking when our workers are otherwise indisposed elsewhere. Apparently if he takes too long or gets knocked out, then his truck will drive itself home.
