According to a chat between a Battlefield 4 user and an EA support rep, the Second Assault multiplayer add-on will be likely ending its Xbox One exclusivity at the end of next month as it releases for PC.
It would of course be out for Premium users first. EA and DICE had suspended work on DLC in order to focus their team on addressing Battlefield 4’s core issues, which were glaring.
This would mean Second Assault would also release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Second Assault revives four fan favourite maps from Battlefield 3 with ‘levolution’.
Operation Metro, Operation Firestorm, Caspian Border, and Gulf of Oman are returning to front line duty with the next DLC. EA has yet to officially give word on the status of the add-on, and so this exchange with a EA rep is the first time we’ve gotten anything a little more concrete as to their plans.
