The new feature of Runecrafting has just received its own developer diary from Neocore for action-RPG The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II. It lets you dismantle items into fragments, and these craft into runes.
Monster runes are the most important and there are four types; magic, rare, epic and legendary. Items with greater properties yield better fragments, leading to ‘hundreds’ of rune types.
These can augment items with random stats or specific ones if you have enchantment runes, but the more you want the rarer you’ll need to fully bolster an item with runecrafting.
