Free to play multiplayer shooter Ghost Recon Phantoms, the rebranded Ghost Recon Online, is on its way to Steam on April 10, and the chaps at Ubisoft have released a new trailer with design manager Simon Davis going through some of the major changes players can expect.
The video covers several changes to the game's economy, with the price of Ghost Coins, the game's currency, reduced by 10%. Players will be able to earn some of these coins by playing the game, or buy them with real-world currency. The developers have also removed two weapon tiers, from 9 to 7, so grinding those weapon skills won't be quite as much of a pain.
There's a few other bits and pieces, including new weapon mods and camos, and a new matchmaking system. The new ModMaster weapon customisation system will allow in-depth alteration of your favourite weapons.
We'll have more on Phantoms nearer to that April 10 release date.
