CD Projekt has released the initial patch notes for The Witcher 3’s patch 1.08 update. There’s no official release date just yet but the developer says it will be ”arriving quite soon”.
Major changes include restoration of achievements, which had stopped working properly, fixes to the map to stop things disappearing, and various other tweaks and improvements.
There’s also a fix for an issue that cropped after the game’s 1.07 patch, which altered some of the required stats on items, meaning that players were left with no equipment they could actually wear. The developers have added a special ‘Wolven Hour’ potion that will ”reduce level requirements on all gear for a period of one hour”, allowing you a brief window to scrape together some new threads.
