Rise of the Tomb Raider, which it turns out actually is coming to the PC after several months of confusing back-and-forth from Microsoft, who initially claimed it was an Xbox exclusive, just got a neat new Gamescom trailer.
It shows of an extended slice of stealthy, stabby action from Crystal Dynamics’ game, as our hero Lara steadily knifes her way through an entire battalion of hapless mercenaries.
The footage here is from the ‘Geothermal Valley’, a massive open area where players can take on quests, hunt down animals, and look for ancient tombs to raid. Not that there’s much exploring here - this trailer focuses squarely on the game’s combat, and showcases a few new tricks. Such as firing two arrows at once, right into two enemy’s throats. Ouch.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to Xbox One and the Xbox 360 this November, before the PC version crops up in early 2016.
