Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set in a near-future Earth where absolutely everyone has a minigun or a laser-swords attached to at least one part of their body, and as if that wasn’t dangerous enough they can also make use of some impressive ‘Cybercore’ abilities.
Developer Treyarch highlights a few of these special moves in the latest trailer for the FPS’ options include electro-punching robots in the head, firing swarms of tiny nano-killers at people, and setting off opponents’ grenades.
Honestly, it looks like a lot of fun. I can’t really get too cynical about a game that lets me make every enemy in the room vomit themselves unconscious. The moves shown off here are from the Chaos set, and are focused on AOE attacks and disruption. Expect Treyarch to reveal more Cybercore options soon.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is out this November. It looks like Treyarch might maintain its status as the best Call of Duty studio out there.
