Five months or so after it launched, and CD Projekt’s insanely huge RPG The Witcher 3 will soon receive an insanely huge update, adding around six hundred different changes and improvements. Phew.
”All told, it packs a pretty impressive six hundred changes,” explains CD Projekt’s community lead Marcin Momot over on the game’s forums, ”including fixes for a load of quests, optimizations that’ll make things smoother on PC and consoles, over one hundred fifty stability improvements to iron out hiccups, additional conversations with key characters that will enhance your relationships with them as well as the story as a whole, and a major and much-awaited fix that should take a good bit of the pain out of dealing with items in the Inventory by improving how items are ordered and sorted.”
The patch is so big that in lieu of the usual forum post full of patch notes, the studio has released the full details in a PDF file, which you can view here. Nothing particularly jumps out as a colossal change, but there’s so much packed in that I’m sure you’ll notice at least a few improvements when the patch goes live.
No word on when the patch will be ready to go just yet, but expect more info soon.
