Bioware has launched a competition for Dragon Age: Inquisition fans, challenging them to create a magical item which might eventually be added as an in-game accessory in the fantasy RPG.
The studio has handed out a list of buffs and enhancements for the mechanical side of things, but everything else – lore, backstory, name and so on – is up to you. Just make it interesting.
“Whatever your motivation, we want you to create a new accessory for Dragon Age: Inquisition, along with an interesting name and backstory for it,” explains Bioware. “Make it funny, make it mysterious, make it sad, but above all else, make sure it affects gameplay in an interesting and unique way. Whether it’s high risk/high reward or encourages nonstandard min-maxing, we want items that will get your fellow Inquisitors thinking about how they play in new ways.”
The competition runs until Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:59PM PST, and winners will receive a Dragon Age: Inquisition prize pack along with the possibility of their creation popping up in game. You can find the details of how to enter here.
