Blizzard’s final entry in the StarCraft saga is edging ever closer; the closed beta for StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will kick off on March 31.
The beta will lack some units, improvements and features, and Blizzard points out it “will feel more rough than usual”, but on the plus side it’s expected to run for a lot longer than normal.
“As you are likely aware, we’ve been trying to be as open as possible with the status of our development, and strongly believe that the increased cooperation between developers and players is beneficial to StarCraft II,” Blizzard writes. “To be clear, our goal for this expansion is to work together with all of you to make Legacy of the Void as awesome as possible.”
Each faction’s new units will be playable, as will the new co-operative Archon Mode. You can find the full list of features from the beta here.
