Founder’s packs are now available for martial arts MMO Blade & Soul, offering a range of different content packages ranging from the affordable to the insanely expensive.
For £18.99/$24.99 you’ll get the Initiates Pack, which will let you access a closed Beta later this Fall, and a three-day head start, along with some in-game currency. At the other end of the spectrum is the Master Pack for a whopping £94.99/$124.99, which contains a whole bunch of extra stuff, including some unique in-game content.
The game itself is set for release in the “first quarter of 2016”, according to publisher NCSOFT. You play a student at a martial arts school who must bravely set out on a fantasy adventure, and kick lots of people in the head.
”Blade & Soul defies typical MMO conventions, delivering action-based combat with ability combos and a flexible party role system that does not require dedicated healers,” says NCSOFT. ”It gives players unprecedented movement abilities around the world as their characters leap over mountains and fly through the air.”
