Otherland, which had been in development since 2008 before finally getting into Steam Early Access on 15 September 2015, has its first content update called “The 8 Squared Conflict.”.
The update features more than 120 new quests which revolve around the secrets of 8 Squared and the The war between the Red and the White Armies. Locations that players will get to explore include the Mausoleum or the Red Castle. Finally, the update ups the level cap to 40.
According to developer DRAGO Entertainment, ”While working on the update, DRAGO Entertainment used the opportunity to consider wishes and improvements suggested by the community. The result is a list of bugfixes and changes in the game. Male characters got reworked, keybindings for the quickslot have been added and zone transitions got improved as well. DRAGO Entertainment cherishes the involvement of the community, helping to improve Otherland immensely while being in Early Access.”
