Data mining has revealed the HTML5 code for Ubisoft’s The Division website is harbouring an ‘Alpha’ section, which for now leads to a dead-end. No such alpha testing has been announced.
However Ubisoft are bringing back the ‘Ubisoft Lounge’ for GDC 2015 next week, and two lead designers for the online shooter will be in attendance. Could we hear something then?
The Game Develops Conference 2015 is being held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco in California March 2-6, with the Expo running March 4-6. Tom Clancy’s The Division is being handled by Ubisoft studios Massive, Reflections and Red Storm. It was announced back at E3 2013.
It’s in development for PC, Xbox One and PS4 and uses the Snowdrop engine. Reddit found the Alpha.
