Nidhogg developer Messhof’s new title, the abstract action puzzle game Flywrench, is available now on Steam.
In it, you pilot a spaceship through a series of tunnels, flipping your ship’s orientation in order to get past various tricky obstacles.
”Each maneuver that you perform, such as flapping like a bird, or tumbling like a baton, changes its color. Match the ship’s color with a shape’s to pass through it, hit an obstacle as the wrong color and fail,” explains Messhof. Yeah, that actually doesn’t explain it too well either. It’s probably best to watch the gameplay video below.
There are over 170 levels, plus a level editor, so that should keep you busy for quite a while. The game was actually Kickstarted way back in 2009, so it’s been a long time coming.
