CD Projekt revealed earlier this week that the final free piece of DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would be a New Game + mode that would encourage players to run through the game a second time while keeping some of their character’s skills and equipment.
The company’s community rep Marcin Momot has created a [url=http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/45519-New-Game-is-coming-it-seems?p=1866418&viewfull=1#post1866418]forum post[/url that tells us a little bit more about what to expect, what will carry over into NG+ and what will not.
Here’s the details:
”Player experience (if you’re below level 30 when finishing the vanilla game, you will be bumped to level 30 for the start of NG+), items (excluding: quest items, books & letters, Gwent cards, usable items, trophies), money and alchemy recipes. When starting New Game Plus you can select any difficulty level. You can obtain the Death Match achievement when playing the NG+ mode.”
Enemies will be toughened up, obviously, and you’ll receive a free Clearing Potion at the beginning of the new game in case you fancy trying out some new skills. There’s still no date for when the new DLC will drop.
