Weird distortions at the edge of your screen? That’s likely chromatic aberration, which means not all colours are being focused properly, and it’s something that irks some and goes unnoticed by others.
In any case, CD Projekt RED has pledged a setting will be available to slay the beast in The WItcher 3, so no matter where the game camera is focusing you won’t get those distorted borders.
Recently the studio also revealed we’ll be able to trim Geralt’s growing beard for that extra next-gen-ness, but a free DLC - of which there will be many in total - will lock the beard in a pre-defined state because ”it would be weird to require from them to reapply it time after time.”
Other recent games with prominent chromatic aberration are Dying Light and Lords of the Fallen.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 May 19th.
