With just under a week to go before EVE Online goes free, in a sense, CCP have released a 'Tour' video to show all you can expect to get from the game without throwing your hard-earned money at it.
The 'Ascension' update arrives November 15 and brings a series of changes to help those joining in with the space simulator for the first time to get a decent foot in the door.
Citing the alterations as "some of the biggest changes ever to New Eden", there's an improved 'New Player Experience' along with Clone States - a feature that allows you to play as an Alpha clone for as long as you want without dishing out a penny.
There's new ships, explosion effects, engineering complexes, command bursts coming our way too; basically a whole load of nonsense if you've never played before. But hey: new is new.
If you're looking to get involved during the transition, you need only register an account once the update goes live. Though there's a 14-day trial, too, should you just want to play now.
