There seems to be some confusion going on over an unannounced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt “Enhanced Edition”, as some online retailers have listed the product on their pages. However, the official Twitter feed has dismissed the product pages as ”some kind of error.”
The odd entries were first spotted by NeoGAF, with major French online retailer E.Leclerc listing the game for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Another site listed the game, stating it would be released on 5 February 2016. The latter site has apparently removed “Enhanced Edition”, but it still shows the February release date, which is odd since the game was released on all platforms earlier in 2015.
CD Projekt RED seems to have put its foot down on the matter, stating in the official The Witcher 3 Twitter feed:
Interestingly, E.Leclerc has not removed its listing of the Enhanced Edition, so it remains to be seen whether it is real or not.
