It may have originated from the Battlefield 4 days, but that doesn't stop the event from taking a trip through the proverbial time machine. Battlefest returns for Battlefield 1!
And yes, of course we mean EA's newest entry in the franchise. We're not time-hopping back to 2002's Battlefield 1942 - there's too many years involved. Instead, those experiencing DICE's touching portrayal of The Great War will, not entirely in the spirit of remembrance, benefit from double experience point rates, new game-modes and community missions.
And it isn't just Battlefield 1 players who'll be able to get involved with the bolstered growth rates and challenges, as the same two features are headed for both Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4, too.
While the entire list of challenges and rewards can be viewed on the official Battlefield website, fulfilling certain criteria on specific days of the events will net you goodies like exclusive weapon skins and dog tags.
The website makes note of the event being focused around playing the object; which it even admits a lot of people forget to do. Of course, there's no download required. Just take a look at the scheduled and play your game.
