If you're one for ruining the experience millions have paid for, be prepared to face the consequences. Though you'll likely be a little displeased to face permanent removal from a game you play to make other people miserable, you only have yourself to blame in the end. So if you're caught cheating in Counter Strike: Global Offensive, be ready to taste sweet justice.
Through a quick alteration to the Overwatch system put in place to have select community members judge accused cheaters in Valve's ultra-competitive shooter, there's no third strike or "Sorry, I won't do it again" here. If you're caught cheating more than once, expect to buy the game again if you're adamant on ruining the days of others.
October 25 saw the update roll out with a few other bug fixes and tweaks for the Halloween update that did nothing but place pumpkins on the explosive chickens so many of us love to shoot. Bringing lots of changes to the remade Inferno map, the update ushered in the new-age banhammer where only the cheaters would be displeased.
"A temporary griefing conviction assigned by Overwatch will now be elevated to a permanent conviction if the suspect had a previous temporary griefing conviction."
While it's never really clear why someone would play a game only to rob everyone else of the true experience, don't expect them to be doing it for long.
