EA's open beta for Battlefield 1 experiencing server outages, hacker group PoodleCorp claims responsibility

The open beta for Battlefield 1 started yesterday, although unfortunately it's been stung with server outages, which appears to have been caused by a hacker group called PoodleCorp who launched a DDoS attack sometime last night.

Thousands of users were trying to head online to play the open beta, so many originally thought it was because EA's Origin servers were overloaded and couldn't cope – In fairness to them FIFA 16's servers were down too – although PoodleCorp quickly came on Twitter to claim responsibility.

Battlefield 1 Premium Pass includes early access to expansion packs and maps, costs £39.99

EA Games has revealed a lot of new details about what the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass includes, which costs €49,95 separately.

There will be four theme expansion packs, which Premium Pass players will get access to two weeks ahead of normal users. This also includes 16 new maps, new game modes, Elite classes, 20 new weapons and more.
