This is the latest and most outstanding title in the Total War franchise, any history RTS buff or fan of the series would be psychotically imbalanced should they choose to pass on this.
Paradox has been the soul of historical computer strategy gaming and with Europa Universalis 3 it proves to remain so for years to come.
To sum up, this game is so playable, it nearly hurts.
In a nutshell, imagine combining Civilization with Age of Empires, as well as throwing in a smattering of Risk or Total War and you get a game that looks, sounds and IS very impressive.
