The Official Space Hulk remake website has received a new update from the Teardown team about the on going legal struggles for the second release of Space Hulk. It appears to be good news too:
We do not want you to get your hopes up in vain but today we got a hold of a person working at THQ and had a 30 minute long call with him. He explained that he is really fond of our game and what we have done and are currently looking through a lot of legal issues making any further releases possible. There are a lot of stuff to cover like the approval of Games Workshop, the fact that we have used bits from the game by Electronic Arts a so forth and so there are still no guarantees that this will end in a release of the 1.1 version of the game. But still it is great to hear that THQ know of our game and the stirr we have caused and that they are doing anything they can on their end to help us and to see this game released. The wheels might turn slowly but at least they are in motion.
