A video that swam out with all the other recent leaks from Intellisponse apparently lead some to believe this footage was of SEGA and Silicon Knights joint project.
A rep from SEGA however contacted "not the game that Silicon Knights is creating for us."and struck down the notion using mighty words like it's
The game is allegedly named The Crucible: The Evil Within, and while SEGA don't deny it’s something that Silicon Knights could have been working on it’s definitely not the project they've been busy with.
SEGA's Steve Groll wrote:
"That video is not the game that Silicon Knights is creating for us. I have no idea if it is a game they are working on for someone else, but it’s definitely not the project that Silicon Knights and SEGA are producing. I can’t reveal any info about the game we currently have in development, but I can tell you that it is not titled ‘The Crucible.’ More news about our game coming soon."
According tothis leaked footage could in fact be the machinations of THQ's Big Huge Games, who've enlisted Oblivion designer Ken Rolston.
Their source claims the leaked video is an "absolutely archaic build, and doesn't even come close to representing what the game is or where it's going". The game is expected sometime in 2009 for Xbox360, PS3 and PC.
