With the not so hot reception of Need for Speed: Pro Street you can forgive the fans for being a little sceptical with Undercover.
According to MaxConsole, the first trickle of info has arrived for EA’s hopefully glorious revival of the franchise. In any case - E3 will have the goods.
Apparently Undercover will have 13 different car brands and 3 moto brands, is that motorbikes? A new prize system for players to get their clutches (see what I did there?) on cars, detailed damage models for those sleek automobiles with a ”fully arcade physics engine.” An improvable ‘hero’?
It also says a 3D smoke technology and an improved graphics engine - two no-brainers really. As this ‘source’ is un-sourced it really is best to take this with a whole salt shaker, not just a pinch.
This year’s E3 event should have EA burning laps of intrigue, and hopefully not just choking our hopes.
Need for Speed: Undercover is being released on Xbox360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii and DS.
