Nintendo should be well chuffed with themselves this month, a 4-1 ratio of Wii sales over the PS3 is good news for their investors, as reported by Enterbrain. In four weeks the Wii has sold 331,627 units compared to Sony’s PS3 managing just 89,131 in comparison.
The release of Wii Fit and Super Smash Bros. Brawl has undoubtedly been a major factor in this delight for Nintendo with both pushing over a million units each.
While the Wii may be getting its groove on again and the PS3 feeling a little jealous, the poor Xbox360 doesn’t even get a mention - talk about neglect. Microsoft has been battling hard to try and crack the Japanese gaming market where Sony and Nintendo are considered practically ‘untouchable’.
