Banjo-Kazooie developer Rare are busy with cooking up projects for Natal, and they’d like new designers to join the UK team to help ”think ahead” for cool ideas.
There’s nothing on the ‘09 slate for Rare. Applicants previous experience and badges of honour ”aren’t necessarily important;” they need crazy thinkers to ”challenge the rules”, man.
”There’s a new direction in gaming and we’re looking for designers to help Rare lead the way. Microsoft’s Project Natal is all about controller-free gaming, changing the landscape by using the player as the controller,” says the Rare ad in Edge magazine.
”Rare is at the forefront of creating cool new experiences to really bring Natal to life. Your previous roles and design experience aren’t necessarily important; if you can think differently, think ahead and challenge the rules of what an iterative experience can be, get in touch!”
Quick, don’t let that mental imbalance go to waste - apply to Rare!
